National restaurant lobby fights Denver sick-leave measure

Brands' KFC and Pizza Hut have joined the National Restaurant Association's $100,000 fight against a local ballot initiative that would require Denver employers to give workers paid sick days. Proponents see the measure as a common-sense initiative; opponents say it's bad for business and worry that campaigns for similar measures could spread across the country.
