University hospital offers training program for school nurses

Cooper University Hospital in Camden, N.J., has established the Cooper in Schools multidisciplinary program for training school nurses, coaches, sports trainers, counselors and teachers. The program also guides children who are interested in pursuing health-related careers. "It is part of our mission to educate the community so that children will have the support and the resources they need to live safe, healthy and productive lives," the program’s medical director said.
