Internet offers Western retailers a path to China

Increasingly more Western brands, including fashion retailers Zara, Coach, Puma and Hugo Boss, are entering China via online retail. Chinese online retail sales are on track to hit $540 billion by 2015, according to Bain & Co. "If you're going to be in China, e-commerce is going to be the first thing you consider, and if you're already there, you're scrambling to adapt," said Duncan Clark, chairman of BDA China.
