New York City eateries push even more mashups

New York City foodies still flock to eateries selling unconventional mashups such as the Cronnut or the Ramen Burger, but some restaurants are taking the trend too far, writes Michael Kaplan. Waffle & Wolf serves savory ingredients such as pulled pork and red onions or tomato and mozzarella cheese sandwiched in a sweet Belgian waffle that strikes out on flavor.
