Boeing profits soar 78% on strong military revenue

Boeing reported strong third-quarter earnings despite a decline in commercial aircraft sales. Revenue from the company's military contracts helped profits climb 78% to $456 million from $256 million a year ago. Officials also said they are sticking with their goal of securing 200 firm orders for the 7E7 by the end of the year.
