Cingular launches ad blitz to tout AT&T Wireless merger

Cingular Wireless, having completed its $41 billion acquisition of AT&T Wireless, is now aiming to let customers know about it through an extensive marketing campaign launching today. The company will spend hundreds of millions of dollars in the next several weeks with the goal of reassuring existing customers and winning business from competitors.
