Mass. insurer to implement e-prescribing requirements

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, the state's largest health insurer, will require doctors to use e-prescribing systems by 2011 if they want to receive bonus payments. Blue Cross also plans to help some providers pay for the e-prescribing software.
