Original "balloon boy" flew helium balloon at age 4

While the helium balloon hoax has garnered attention for 6-year-old Falcon Heene, Cleveland boasted a real balloon boy who wowed audiences in the 1930s. Bill Crawford flew a 12-foot helium balloon from 1931 through 1933, when he was ages 4 to 6. Crawford, now 82, joined the Air Force after college and now lives in Florida.
