Nintendo reports disappointing results

Nintendo announced a 34% drop in revenue during its fiscal first half, the six-month period that ran through September, and a net loss of $24.7 million. The export-centric Japan-based company is being plagued by the one-two punch of a rising yen and stagnant sales growth from its Wii and DS gaming platforms.
