School includes pumpkins in math, science lessons:

For more than two decades, a Wyoming elementary school has included pumpkins in math and science lessons during an annual "pumpkin day." With the help of family members, second-grade students weigh and measure their pumpkins, before estimating and counting the seeds. "It's an easy way to get a jump-start with pumpkin carving and learn math and science, too," one teacher said.
