Verizon begins iPad sales as T-Mobile readies Galaxy Tab

Verizon Wireless will start selling the iPad at its stores today for $629 -- the 16 gigabyte version -- bundled with a MiFi 2200 mobile hot spot device at a $20 monthly service cost for 1 GB of data. Also on the tablet computer front, T-Mobile USA said it would become the first domestic carrier to offer Samsung's Galaxy Tab on Nov. 10 for $400 with a signed two-year service contract.
