N.Y. fracking opponents hamper state's economic growth

The holdup of natural gas drilling approval in New York continues to hurt the state economy, writes Abby Wisse Schachter of the New York Post. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has had a careful approach and isn't likely to reject hydraulic fracturing, "[b]ut the obstructionists may push the administration to write such stringent regulations that large-scale drilling never materializes," Schachter writes.
