Flavonoid-rich diet may protect women from stomach cancer

Women who consumed more than 580 mg of flavonoids daily were 51% less likely to develop stomach cancer than those who had less intake, according to a European study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. However, researchers said that high flavonoid intake was not significantly associated with stomach cancer in men.
