Groupon focuses on mobile, travel in Asia-Pacific

Groupon's total number of mobile audience exceeds its number of desktop users by more than 5 million. Now the deals service is looking to build its business in the Asia-Pacific region via mobile, with an emphasis on travel and goods verticals. As part of the effort, newly hired Sean Seah will be reaching out to the hospitality and travel sector in the region while focusing on mobile commerce.
