Ariz. district transforms lunch with grab-and-go options

A grab-and-go approach to school meals has changed the way meals are being served in an Arizona district. After studying the meal program and surveying students for a year, nutrition professionals found that students were tired of eating the same things and some delivery methods, such as a custom sandwich station, resulted in longer wait times. Nutrition professionals now prepare meals earlier in the day, so students can grab what they want at meal time.
