BIM used in build-out of medical facility

The owner of a medical facility wanted to build out about 200,000 square feet on three levels. Designers examined the existing building and created a 3D model in Autodesk Revit MEP to help in the overall design. The project entailed an imaging suite and an educational center, and BIM was used for clash detection. This case study looks at the challenges and realities during the project.
