Bloggers, e-mail invites help Wave get word out to small business

The founders of Wave, a cloud-based financial program for small businesses, have expanded their platform to more than 1.5 million users since its founding in 2009 by building word-of-mouth marketing through a blogger initiative and by working with accountants to link to Wave's website. When Wave users send invoices or add collaborators to an account, the software also automatically sends an invite.
