Compulsive cell phone use and motor vehicle crash

Anticipation of incoming cell phone calls and texts was significantly associated with reported motor vehicle crash incidence. These results offer insight into potential mechanisms underlying the association between cell phone use and risky driving practices, and may inform prevention efforts.
