D.C. to consider increasing minimum wage

The City Council in Washington, D.C., this week is expected to consider four proposals to raise the minimum wage. One proposal would increase the minimum to $12.50 an hour. Mayor Vincent Gray recently vetoed a bill that would have required Wal-Mart to pay workers 50% more than the city's current minimum wage of $8.25 an hour.
