Expert recommends tapping into clients' real behaviors

Clients often meet with advisers wearing "their game face," describing the investors they want to be rather than their true behaviors, says Jay Mooreland, founder of The Emotional Investor, who spoke at FPA Experience 2013. Advisers should shape clients' portfolios based on their actual habits and risk tolerance so they will see better results, Mooreland said.
