Facebook IPO claims top out at $41.6M, Nasdaq says

Market makers can recover a total of $41.6 million from Nasdaq OMX Group relating to the exchange operator's mistakes while handling the initial public offering of Facebook, the exchange said. The figure, which was calculated by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, was lower than expected in part because UBS will attempt to recover funds through arbitration, rather than Nasdaq's plan.
