Fed is unlikely to slow stimulus this year, analysts say

The Federal Reserve is unlikely to announce a slowdown in its bond-buying program this year, many analysts say. The program could start slowing down early next year, after Janet Yellen has taken over for Ben Bernanke as Fed chairman, said Jamie Dannhauser of Lombard Street Research. "The U.S. economy still has a very big hole that needs to be filled, and people like Bernanke and Yellen are very acutely aware of this point," Dannhauser said.
