Global M&A activity likely to increase, executive survey finds

Both the number and size of mergers and acquisitions are likely to increase over the coming year, according to a survey by consulting firm Ernst & Young. The life sciences sector is likely to be among those with the highest level of deals, and Brazil, Canada, China, India and the U.S. are likely to be the most active markets, the survey found.
