JPMorgan settles with FHFA

JPMorgan will pay $5.1 billion to the Federal Housing Finance Agency to settle claims related to mortgage-backed securities sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The company said in a statement that the settlement is "an important step towards a broader resolution of the firm's MBS-related matters with governmental entities."
