Louisville, Ky., mayor to sign ordinance banning late-night alcohol sales

The mayor of Louisville, Ky., Greg Fischer says he intends to sign the Metro Council's recently passed ordinance to ban the sale of beer, wine and liquor from 2 to 4 a.m., which requires a separate, special license. The ordinance was adopted in an effort to reduce late-night crime near liquor stores, particularly in the western and southern parts of the city.
