Poll points to landslide win for de Blasio in mayor's race

Bill de Blasio, a Democrat and New York City's public advocate, is on track to be elected mayor by an overwhelming margin, according to the latest New York Times/Siena College poll. De Blasio leads his Republican opponent, former Metropolitan Transportation Authority Chairman Joseph Lhota, by 45 percentage points, the poll indicates.
