Predicting rehospitalization

What predicts rehospitalization of elderly rehabilitation patients? This study found that 4% of rehabilitation patients had an unplanned rehospitalization. The majority were readmitted with the same diagnosis (46% musculoskeletal, 54% cardiovascular and 46% respiratory), and use of seven or more drugs was among the items related to the rehospitalization.
