Ryanair changes aim to quell criticism over rules, fees

After coming under fire for fees and baggage rules, Ryanair will now let passengers board with a second small carry-on parcel such as a handbag or airport shopping bag. The carrier will also lower its fee to re-issue boarding passes from about $113 to $24. The airline will reduce its checked bag fee and introduce a 24-hour grace period to change customer information in the system.
