USC team comes up with method for spraying semiconductors

Researchers at the University of Southern California have developed a solvent that can dissolve semiconductors without using hydrazine, an explosive and toxic substance. This discovery could enable the spraying of semiconductors as a thin film, known as solution-phase processing, an alternative to vacuum-based deposition.
