Kraft Cracks Sugar-Free Slurpee Code

Kraft Foods Inc. has developed a sugar-free syrup that can be used to make sugar-free Slurpees. For years, 7-Eleven Inc. was unable to crack the code on a sugar-free version of its semifrozen, carbonated concoction. Although Kraft is not divulging any secrets, 7-Eleven is testing the product in 106 stores in Detroit and 35 stores in Kansas City before rolling it out to the rest of the country in the summer.
