Palo Alto Parents Urged To Buy Laptop For Children's Program

Some parents of Jordan Middle School students in Palo Alto, Calif., are furious that the school has asked them to buy a $2,000 Apple iBook laptop to join the school's new technology program. Although the computers aren't required, parents have said that they're afraid their children will fall behind if they don't get the laptops.
