New guidelines designed to reduce workplace injuries in nursing homes are being greeted with trepidation by other business groups, which fear OSHA may be going too far. Although OSHA describes its guidelines as advisory in nature and lacking new legal requirements, the National Association of Manufacturers said the proposal "could set a very bad precedent" for other industries.
