Analysis: ePrescribing effort reduces errors, boosts use of generics

A Southeast Michigan ePrescribing Initiative analysis reveals efforts to replace prescription pads with computers are reducing the number of medication erros and helping to increase use of generic drugs. The coalition plans to extend the technology initiative through March 2008.
