Study: UV light treatment boosts antibodies in cancer fight

Activating monoclonal antibodies using ultraviolet light allowed British scientists to kill tumors in five of six mice with ovarian cancer without harming healthy tissues. Researchers "cloaked" the antibodies with a light-sensitive organic oil, stopping the antibodies until they came into contact with light. Then the researchers activated them by shining UV light at the tumor site.
