Group helps parents, students with disabilities take vacations

A nonprofit organization in Maryland helps plan group vacations for parents and their children who have special needs so they may spend time bonding away from siblings and day-to-day struggles at home. Started by a longtime teacher at the Rock Creek School for students with special needs, the Believers' Club raises money to pay the expenses of its students, while parents, staff and volunteers pay their own way.
