Tower company working to support more efficient wind turbine blades

FWS Technologies, a Canadian company, is making a good thing better by creating concrete slipform towers for wind turbines that can rise higher and handle larger turbine blades. The one-two punch allows the wind turbines to generate more energy. "Concrete offers high strength and stiffness and superior harmonic and vibration dampening characteristics for wind turbine tower construction," said George Depres, chief operating officer of FWS Technologies.
