Ford drops, Toyota rises in vehicle reliability survey

Ford dropped to 27th of 28 brands ranked in an annual Consumer Reports survey -- seven spots lower than its previous ranking -- due to "flaws" in its small car transmission system and touch-screen navigation device. The company's Lincoln brand also dropped to 26th place. Meanwhile, Toyota Motor Corp. won the top three rankings for its Scion, Toyota and Lexus brands.
