Swarovski's augmented-reality app turns photo into cover shot

Swarovski is using an augmented-reality application that allows prospective buyers to virtually try on its jewelry and see themselves as the model adorning the cover of a book it calls "Multiface(t)s." Users can choose among seven "style occasions," including "Career Girl" and "Cocktail," and use a camera phone to create the virtual cover art.
