Cigna exec says CEOs should make personal wellness commitment

CEOs must set the tone for employee health and wellness programs, which can pay dividends such as lower absenteeism, increased productivity and happier workers, said Julia Huggins, Cigna HealthCare's president of the mid-Atlantic. She recommended company leaders make a public commitment to wellness, look for short-term and long-term goals, and create a wellness plan that is customized to meet employee needs.
