Clubs serve members better with new valet, shipment programs

Country clubs are going above and beyond to provide exceptional service to members and visitors such as St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, Fla., which uses a program called Zingle to send members a text when their car is waiting for them at the valet stand. Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, Fla., uses a service that ships members' golf clubs anywhere in the country, even on a tight schedule. The service has become "an important part of delivering on our overall member-satisfaction promise," says Buddy Antonopoulos, head golf professional at Medalist.
