Commerce OIG to investigate FirstNet complaints

The Commerce Department's Office of the Inspector General will investigate complaints about FirstNet Board ethics and how it deals with the contractors that will build the broadband network for first responders. FirstNet Board Chairman Sam Ginn had created a special committee to investigate these issues and others but later decided the OIG should take over the investigation into the board's ethics and procurement.
