Ill. district begins "curriculum renewal" process

School board members and officials in an Illinois district are working to improve the math curriculum. Board members recently approved a decision to have consultants and a staff committee evaluate a new math curriculum being rolled out this school year. Under the program, freshmen will enroll in geometry and complete calculus by the time they graduate.
