Patients show greater concern about data sharing purpose

A survey of more than 3,300 adults revealed user information and sensitivity had moderate to no bearing in terms of patients' willingness to share their EHR data. However, patients appeared to be more concerned about the purpose of using their EHRs, researchers reported in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine.
