Poll finds generational gap in nurses' opinions about shortage, EMRs

Among the more than 3,400 registered nurses who responded to a survey by AMN Healthcare, registered nurses between the ages of 19 and 39 were more likely to say that the shortage of nurses has improved in the past five years. The survey also showed that 67% of younger nurses said that the use of EMRs had a positive impact on job satisfaction compared with 51% for nurses aged 40 to 54, and 45% for those 55 and older.
