Va. students spend a day exploring tech careers

More than 70 technology companies recently hosted students from throughout the Charlottesville, Va., area as part of the region's annual Tech Tour event. The program is sponsored by the Charlottesville Business Innovation Council, and is aimed at stirring student interest in tech careers. "We want to make it evident that if they want to return to Charlottesville they can," said Chris Engel, the city's director of economic development.
