Dynavax working on "universal" flu vaccine

Scientists at Dynavax Technologies Corp. are working on a potential vaccine that could be effective against various strains of seasonal flu as well as bird flu. The vaccine targets two common flu proteins that tend to remain stable, even while other flu virus proteins mutate, avoiding the need for a new vaccine with such mutations.
