NYC health board begins trans fat talks

New York City's Board of Health will hold its first public meeting today to discuss a restaurant ban on foods containing artificial trans fats, which would make the city the first to implement such a rule. The health board's proposal would also require thousands of New York City restaurants to display calorie counts on menus and men boards.
