AMA survey says CMS needs to improve PQRI program

A survey conducted by the American Medical Association revealed that more than six out of 10 physicians found the CMS' Physician Quality Reporting Initiative program difficult, and just 22% were able to access the PQRI feedback report for use in their practice. The survey "shows a clear need for the program to be improved so that physicians can more easily participate and so that they and Medicare get greater value from the program," AMA board member Ardis Hoven said.
