EU boosts crisis fund; further measures to come 26 November

So far, Iceland and Hungary are the only eligible countries that have applied for aid through the EU's macro-financial assistance fund, but administrators are expecting other nations to tap the fund. The EU more than doubled the fund to €25 billion. Jose Manuel Barroso, president of the European Commission, said a "comprehensive European Union recovery plan" will be presented 26 November.
