Scotland water project wins engineering award

Scotland's Loch Katrine Water Project has received the Saltire Award for Civil Engineering for this year. The project, which was opened earlier this year, links the Mugdock and Craigmaddie reservoirs with two tunnels. The tunnels, treatment works and tanks are covered with turf, so they blend in with surrounding pasture land.
